At the moment, Conor didn’t provide any further details as to when this fight would actually take place…or if Pacquiao had actually agreed to the battle.
According to reports from ESPN, the match could go down somewhere between late December or early January, though that’s not set in stone. While his future with the UFC is still unknown following his announcement (once again) that’s he’s retired, McGregor’s manager Audie Attar said the UFC is on-board with the fight and mentioned that he’s also likely to return to the UFC next year.
McGregor was arrested earlier this month for indecent exposure and alleged sexual assault following an altercation in a bar in Corscia, France. He was taken into custody after a complaint was issued to police.
