Multi-hyphenate artist pluko has joined forces with Parisian producer Chopsoe for an explosive new experimental bass track ‘redux’ out on October 2nd via pluko’s imprint Splendid Society.

Opening the track with a grandiose cinematic bass chord progression, ‘redux’ fuses dirty synths, rambunctious bass-drops and experimental trap beats into one finely calibrated tune. ‘redux‘ encompasses the strengths of the two producers, who continue to defy genres and go beyond the limits of expectations with their music. The track is the first collaboration between pluko and Chopsoe, and follows pluko’s recent single ‘feelings’ with Marlhy.

At only 20-years-old, Hollidaysburg, PA native pluko (aka Sam Martinsen) has racked in over 70 million streams across platforms, released chart-topping albums including his recent May album COLOR BLIND (that hit #7 on the iTunes Charts and #13 on Apple Music Charts) as well as his debut 2018 album sixteen – with the latter coming through Odesza’s label Foreign Family Collective. He’s graced the stages at world-renowned festivals including Coachella, Firefly Festival, Electric Forest and Ultra, as well as toured across the globe. Last year, pluko launched Splendid Society – a record label, collective, and fashion brand that will debut his latest single with Chopsoe on the imprint this Friday.

A young talent from Paris, 20-year-old Chopsoe has developed his style from hip hop rhythms and electronic sounds. Influenced by artists such as Mr. Carmack, Deadmau5 and Flume, Chopsoe has become a prominent rising talent in the electronic music scene, where he’s crafted a stellar remix for Flume’s hit ‘Rushing Back’, a critically-acclaimed EP ‘Self Reality’ and recent single ‘Carbon’.

Be sure to check out pluko and Chopsoe’s latest single ‘redux’ on Friday, October 2nd via pluko’s label Splendid Society and stay tuned for more surprises to come from pluko this month.
