50 Cent Says He Declined $1 Million Offer To Attend Donald Trump Inauguration

Just one month before election day, 50 Cent made major headlines after he made an Instagram post encouraging people to vote for Donald Trump. He was clearly unhappy with President-Elect Biden’s proposed tax plan, but he is now revealing that money did not sway his voting decision.

In an interview with The Breakfast Club, Fif gets candid about what went down behind the scenes in regard to Donnie’s administration and his now infamous IG post. He says that prior to making that post, the Trump administration offered him up to $1 million to attend Donnie’s inauguration, and he turned it down.

“I come to y’all to talk about them offering me $1 million to go to Trump’s inauguration, right? I passed on it,” he says. “They offered me $500,000 and it went up to $1 million while I was still confused with whether I should do it.”

According to 50, the Trump administration was looking to secure the black vote through prominent black celebrities, and he was one of them. He says, however, he turned down the offer due to the possible backlash would’ve gotten.

“He was using me for the same reasons you see now. He participated with different artists for the black vote. And I’m like, ‘I’m not going to put myself in that position’ because I don’t know what I would have to do to recover from that.”

If y’all recall, Lil Wayne was spotted posted up at the White House with Donnie, and posted about on Twitter. When asked about Wayne’s possible agreement with the Trump administration, 50 says he’s sure Wayne took that check straight to the bank.
