Diddy just announced that his 5th studio album is on the way. “Off The Grid” is due out September 24th, according to his post on social media.
Diddy To Drop New Album In September
Diddy. Is. Back.
51-year-old Sean “Diddy” Combs is on his way to releasing his 5th album, titled “Off The Grid: Vol. 1”. With just a photo and a few simple words, the announcement was clear. Also posting a reference to his latest name change, Diddy’s post reads –
“OFF THE GRID…The Album September 24, 2021. Welcome to the LOVE ERA!”
In case you haven’t heard the news. Back in May, Diddy (born Sean John Combs) made another name change. No, he did not go back to P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, Puffy, or whatever else he is formerly known as. This time, he changed his middle name. Instead of Sean John Combs, as he was born, his name has been legally changed to Sean Love Combs. Whatever!
This new release scheduled for September will make his first drop since 2015, when he offered a mixtape, MMM. Diddy will be adding to his 4 previous studio album contributions, which include –
- No Way Out (1997)
- Forever (1999)
- The Saga Continues (2001)
- Press Play (2006)
As reported by Billboard, the 2015 MMM project was saturated with collaborations from the likes of Lil’ Kim, Future, Travis Scott, Big Sean, Ty Dolla $ign, Wiz Khalifa, and more.
Perhaps the master of collaborations, fans can’t wait to see who pops up on his newest venture. Of all solo albums, and collaborations involving Diddy, the rapper reached the #1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart a total of 5 times.
Will he do it again with this offering. We’ll find out soon enough.
